Please enjoy our place in Varanasi, at the banks of the Ganges, viewing the mighty river and magical sunrises. Together with you we bring back life and good spirits in this Indian heritage site.
Rana Mahal, built by the former rulers of Mewar, Rajasthan in 1670, is the perfect location to stay in Varanasi. Situated in Kashi, the spiritual heart of the city, it offers full view on the amazing sunrise above the Ganges river. It’s situated at Rana Mahal Ghat, on walking distance from the great Kashi Vishwanath Temple. At our place you can fully surrender yourself to ‘just be’. Pilgrims and tourists that are seeking for an extraordinary experience.
One of a kind heritage site
Rana Mahal is a one of a kind, a perfect place for world citizens. To the rich heritage of the palace and it’s famous ghat, we added some refined contemporary art, design, warm hearted service and lots of love. While enjoying the charm and richness of the place we want you at the same time feel home. It’s up to you if you want to mingle with the other guests or prefer to stay in your own company. Both are fine.
Right now we’re still in the ‘Best Exotic Marigold Phase’ of the project. However we do want to give you already the opportunity to enjoy our place. Since opening up the place during Kumbh Mela seemed to us the very best moment to start this adventure, to bring back life to a special venue like this, in Varanasi. It matches our intentions to host Indians, NRI’s and other international guest looking for beautiful experiences and connections. So, don’t expect perfection at all. Just look at the sunrise and understand why we accepted this challenge when the venue came on our paths.
