He brings almost 20 years of experience in the hospitality sector in the 5 star and palace segment working for a.o. TAJ Ganges, TAJ Nadesar Palace, Tent City Varanasi by Praveg and Brijrama Palace. This next step in his career perfectly blends with our ambition to protect and redevelop historic buildings and offer something new and beautiful to our guests; stylish places that create the right vibe to enjoy Varanasi to the fullest.

BRIO will lead architectural renovation
Delighted to announce that Architecture BRIO will lead the architectural renovation of Rana Mahal, our cherished heritage site on the banks of the Ganges in Varanasi. Their thoughtful, boundary-pushing work and their unique cross-continental story, with roots in both India and the Netherlands, deeply resonates with our own journey.
Architecture BRIO is steadily building a remarkable body of architectural and interior design work around the world. With every project, they seek to challenge convention—making them a perfect fit for the restoration of Rana Mahal, a site long embedded in the spiritual and cultural capital Varanasi.
We hope this collaboration not only brings new life to the mahal but also strengthens the creative and cultural ties between India and the Netherlands.
